🧽 How do I clean the Quenchy Cup?
The Quenchy Cup is dishwasher safe (top rack recommended). Its smooth, rounded design means there are no hidden corners for mould or residue to build up. For extra peace of mind, you can also use a small straw brush if you like, but it isn’t essential.
🛡️ Is the Quenchy Cup safe?
Absolutely. Quenchy wasdesigned and manufactured to ISO safety standardsand is made fromfood-grade silicone. The straw issoft and flexible, so it bends if a toddler falls while drinking.
💦 Does it really not leak?
Yes! The straw is fixed to the base and designed so itcan’t be pulled out or pushed in. Combined with the clever flow control system, this means no spills or free-flowing leaks, even when the cup is turned upside down or left on its side.

Read MorePlaySprouts was born in 2024, right here in Northern Ireland, out of the everyday chaos and joy of raising my two boys. As a mechanical and manufacturing engineer who spent years designing medical devices, from autoinjectors to breathing circuits, I’ve always focused on one thing: identifying real user needs and creating solutions that truly work.
Parenthood quickly showed me that toddlers have a knack for finding the flaws in every product… and so the idea for PlaySprouts and our first creation, the Quenchy Cup, was born.
